Support Groups

NAMI Four Seasons provides support, education, and advocacy for families and individuals in Henderson and Polk counties who have been effected by mental illness. All NAMI services are provided without cost.

While we do not offer therapy, medical, or legal advice, and cannot provide referrals to specific therapists, counselors, or doctors, we can direct you towards resources that provide these services. To reach our information line for resources please call (888) 955-NAMI(6264).

NAMI Four Seasons offers a place of nonjudgmental support for people facing similar issues. These groups are used to share information, experiences, resources, and coping skills. Please drop in for a meeting or call the contact person for more information.

NAMI also offers free training and support for volunteers wishing to facilitate a support group.

Family/Caregiver Support Groups

The NAMI Family Support Group is for persons who know an adult diagnosed with a mental illness who is their relative or someone they feel deeply about.

Henderson County
Where: Grace Lutheran Church, Corner of Sixth Avenue and Blythe
When: Fourth Saturday of every month, 10 AM

Connection

A monthly 90-minute support group for people living with mental illness. In the group setting people learn from each other’s experiences, share coping strategies and offer each other encouragement and understanding. NAMI Connection groups are facilitated  by NAMI trained group leaders who also live with mental illness. Connection groups are open only to adults living with mental illness.  All NAMI services are provided without cost.
